I came here in college and visit at least once a year. Authentic Indian - from the lassi to the naan.

We had the lamb saag, chicken kadai,an order of naan and raita. The lamb was tender, adequate portion size and the spinach was good. Although I ordered mild it was a bit stronger in spice. The chicken kadai was dry and overcooked. The rice served with the meal was well prepared as was the naan and raita. $30 plus for this take out meal. I think it is the best Indian food in Lansing area but not as good as I have had elsewhere. I wish they offered Thali style which serves the main course with a series of small side dishes to enhance the meal.

This place was good in 2016, but something happened and in 2018-2019 their food really lost flavor. My only guess is they have a new chef or tried to cut down costs on something... I wish I knew.

My boyfriend and I decided to check out Sindhu's buffet for lunch today and we were pleasantly surprised! Everything we tried was fresh and delicious! I loved all three rice options that they had available, as well as the stews and butter chicken. The buffet was a little small and they did not have a lot of options overall. There were plenty of vegetable options, and only three meat options. We both felt all of the flavors were amazing, had the right amount of spice, and that everything on our plates complimented the dish next to it. The weekend buffet price was a few dollars more than the week day price, but still reasonable. All-in-all, this was a solid 4 star lunch buffet. We'll definitely be back for more!

I tried the lunch buffet. The price is pretty decent - $9.50 per person. The food, however, fell short of my expectations. I think they probably go light on flavors to accommodate anyone who cannot handle too much spice, however, they compromise the authenticity of certain dishes by doing so. I have been to South Asian restaurants that reduce spice without reducing flavor, but that is not the case here.
Also, no chai with the buffet :(
The staff is nice so no problems in that area.
The meat is Halal so that's definitely a plus.
